Below is my example.
When I was a child I wanted to be a pediatrician. I don't know why! Maybe because I thought that I wanted to work with children and help them.
When I was a teenager I began to think about other options. There were so many things that I wanted to do that I thought choosing just one would be difficult. I thought about journalism, art, psychology, architecture, travel and hospitality, etc. In the end, I chose to study psychology because I thought that it was a general topic that could be useful in a variety of jobs.
My experience at university was one of the best times of my life. I went to a university in another city and lived with other students, many who are still very good friends of mine. I was really interested in my classes and all of the learning experiences.
After graduating I worked with people with developmental disabilities for a few years before I decided that I wanted to live abroad. I then decided to take a teacher training course in order to teach English. Since then I have had a variety of jobs within my field. Looking back, I am happy that I chose to study psychology because it is still relevant to what I am doing now.
That entertaining her passage through her different vocations, but without a doubt she is a very good English teacher, English costs me a lot since my teachers always told me that I would never learn because it costs me a lot to pronounce and it gives me panic to speak, but In his classes I laugh a lot and manage to understand the ideas, although obviously I don't understand everything very well, but I already feel that it is an important advance and we only have 8 classes hahah, thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteMiss, your story is very good, but unlike me, I wouldn't like to work with children, not because I don't like them or anything like that, but because I'm not very sensitive to them, jajaja.
ReplyDeleteMiss, It is an interesting story, without a doubt your life has always been an adventure.
ReplyDeleteMy mother is a nurse and works in neonatology, working alongside pediatricians. I do not agree with you, I have never liked the health area.
Miss, I really like your story, especially the fact that you have worked with people with developmental disabilities, it is a great inspiration for me.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I also thought a lot about what to study and some of my choices were architecture and things very close to hospitality.
wow miss, I am impressed by the amount of experiences you have lived, I really wish I could do some things like you, a dream when I was a girl was to study abroad, due to family issues I could not but I still have the faith to be able to do internships abroad.
ReplyDeleteHello teacher. How great to have different areas in which to develop your skills
ReplyDeleteMiss, I find your story very interesting and very motivating. You are a very good teacher because I find English very difficult, due to the teachers I have had in my school years, and with you I feel that I am finally understanding English :))
ReplyDeleteMiss i think that the career of psychology complements well with the career of teacher of English since it has to know how we think and what we feel so that we can learn better. I think I make a very good decision.
ReplyDeleteMiss, your story of working for others touches me, how you have worked to help others is something very few people do, from working as a psychologist to working with people with disabilities. You are a living example that our actions or decisions can help us in the future.
ReplyDeleteMiss Haverland, your story about how you chose your career is amazing, clearly having studied psychology helps you to be a great teacher!.
ReplyDeleteRegards!
I think we all share that uncertain feeling when leaving high school, because exactly the same thing happened to me.
ReplyDeleteHello Miss! How interesting your story, I really liked it! I would like to meet and study in other universities as well, either in Chile or in the rest of the world, I think it would be a great contribution for me.
ReplyDeleteHello teacher, how interesting your story about you studied, I also did not decide which career to study, it's really hard to choose

ReplyDeleteHello miss, your career and your life is an example to follow due to the security with which you have worked in more than one area within the field of psychology. Without a doubt, I think they are good experiences that in some way I would like to live over the years.
